| the story years of creating custom paper goods for friends led to the evolution of paper eight. it started out as a way for paper eight creator, michelle kuo, to help make the print materials for her friends' events special and unique. it was also a different (and decidedly more fun) creative outlet from the usual demands at her day job as an agency graphic designer in washington, dc. all along, michelle's friends encouraged her to turn her pastime into an actual venture. the right time eventually came around, and paper eight was launched. based in new york city, we work with clients locally as well as remotely throughout the country and internationally. in the media paper eight recently collaborated with a fabulously talented team on a dream design assignment. it was an ideal project and was featured in two wonderful wedding blogs: style me pretty and merci new york. our creative partners included rock paper scissors events, quatre coeur flowers, allan zepeda photography, classic party rentals, and the de gournay showroom nyc. they were all fantastic to work with and we'd do it again in a heartbeat! why paper eight michelle has always been passionate about paper and print design and wanted that to be represented in the name. eight is a lucky number in the chinese culture, which is part of her heritage. these elements combined produced paper eight. this also translated into paper luck and lucky paper, which are both appropriate for all the occasions we design for. services paper eight is all about making print look good! there is no reason to settle for plain, or worse, just plain bad, print goods. we aim to make singular, customized design accessible, preferably without breaking the bank. we work closely with our clients to tailor all design and to provide cost-effective solutions. find customized print design for: weddings baby showers birth announcements birthdays anniversaries thank yous personal stationery presentation cards looking for something that's not on the list? we are always open to requests. just contact us, tell us what you have in mind, and we'll work with you to make it happen. |
